FlexProperty’s November 2024 Update Introduces a New Era of Flexibility for Indexation and Standard Pricing

The FlexProperty Product team is proud to announce our quarterly FlexProperty release for November 2024, delivering our usual wide range of new features and ongoing improvements to D365 FO and CE for Real Estate.

Flexible Indexation

Inflation-based rent increases aligned with a consumer price index are an excellent strategy for ensuring revenue keeps pace with rising costs. However, tenant negotiations and concessions often result in complex indexation schedules. If you also apply indexation to other contractual amounts, you need a flexible solution. 

With this release, we are excited to introduce early access to our completely revamped and fully flexible indexation solution. The new indexation calendars allow you to create custom schedules and even pause indexation when necessary. Indexation increases can also be applied to percentage rent breakpoints and minimum/maximum rent. 

There is much more planned for future releases, so this is your chance to explore the feature and provide early feedback. 

Standard Pricing

We have also reviewed the similarities between market rent, lease templates, and standard prices within our feature set. Our analysis found a large overlap, and so we have decided to consolidate all three features into a single solution by focusing on just one going forward. 

Of the three features, Standard Prices offers the best foundation for future flexibility, already supporting historical price changes and area-based rent. With this release, we have expanded the feature as a compelling alternative to Lease Templates. You can now use Standard Prices to create new lease lines, budgeting assumptions, and even contracts directly from CE. 

Future releases will continue to expand this functionality by adding indexation capabilities and making Standard Prices available in CE.
